What Cirrus is

Cirrus is a single-user AT Protocol Personal Data Server (PDS). It runs on a Cloudflare Worker with a Durable Object for the repository and R2 for blobs. In most cases it is within the Cloudflare free tier. There are no servers to manage, no containers to keep running, and no database to back up.

Run Cirrus to host the Bluesky identity, posts, follows, and media for one account on infrastructure under your direct control.

Experimental beta

Cirrus is functional and well tested, and many people run their primary accounts on it. However it is still beta software. Breaking changes may still occur and not every edge case is covered. Back up important data before migrating a primary account.
